On Friday, MSH held our Annual Lenten Fish Fry. For the seventh year in a row, we were blessed with a beautiful, balmy day in the middle of winter. Over 400 pieces of fish, countless grilled cheese sandwiches and mountains of french fries, along with tireless volunteers made for a wonderful evening and delicious fish dinners. Thank you so much to: Betty German, Rebecca & Jack Davis, Dominic DiBernardo, Terry Zatkos, Bob & Priscilla Ryaby, Deacon Vic & Carol Puzio, Barbara & Jeff Sanders and Pat Szamborski who cooked and served all the food; to Dee Rebecky, Celina Urbankowski, and Marian our ticket chekers and 50/50 sellers; and to Harry and Barbara Chewning for clean up. As always, thank you to Banas Bakery for the wonderful cakes and pastries. Thank you also to everyone who bought a ticket and came out to spend a Friday night in Lent with your parish family. While not technically a fundraiser, we cleared $1,315.00 for our parish after all expenses.
