A beautiful Easter tradition at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish is the blessing of Paschal food.  Hundreds upon hundreds of people passed through The Tomb of Christ on Holy Saturday, April 23, 2011.  Baskets of every shape and size, decorated with ribbons, fresh flowers, pussy willows, forsythia, hand embroidered Easter cloths and containing a portion of ham, cheese, horseradish, salt, kielbasa, babka, pisanki and a butter lamb were blessed.  These are true Easter baskets...  This blessed food has a place of honor at the family Easter table on Sunday.  Click on the link below to see the 10:00AM Food Blessing at MSH.
